The Church of St. Nina welcomes you!
We are a small Orthodox congregation in the town of Kandalaksha, Murmansk region, north-west of Russia.
You don’t need to be Orthodox or even a Christian or even a believer at all to visit our church or to be present at the services. All good people are welcomed regardless of their creed. Although Orthodoxy is often viewed as an inward faith, we will be happy to give you a tour of our temple, explain the symbolism of what you see, or provide a guide and translator to help you understand what’s happening.
Is your interest in the Orthodoxy serious beyond tourist curiosity? If so we’ll do our best to introduce you to the basics of the Orthodox doctrine and practice.
Please write to saint-nina@yandex.ru, and expect a thoughtful and informative response without delay.
